Discovering Talents

Throughout the world thousands of children are existing in orphanages/centers. Many of these children live in very remote regions, where every day they are faced with severe economic disadvantages. Although the orphanages/centers do their best to provide for these children, their resources are limited. The children’s daily lives are often without beauty, art, and hope. Often the children have no idea that they hold within themselves the tools to express themselves and mold their views of their very existence. A sense of hopeless and helplessness often pervades their daily lives, and extinguishes the possibility of a brighter future. USSARC seeks to remedy this situation by providing children with supplies to address their daily needs, coupled with the tools and knowledge to tap into their creativity.

In order to assist these young people in recognizing their own potential, USSARC provides underprivileged children around the sub Saharan region with art supplies and education. In addition, we market the artwork to various audiences, and return the funds to the participating orphanages/centers and their communities to promote economic self-sufficiency. Some people would argue that bringing art instruction and supplies to the orphans overlooks their basic struggle for survival. USSARC Founder, Jesse .J Mbula, has quite elegantly summed up this dilemma by stating, “Bring a child food and you nurture their body, but teach a child art and you nurture their soul.” This is a compelling argument for providing the children with more than the very basic needs of survival.

Please be part of these projects in any way either by donating or transferring part of your skill and time to these kids as the spirit may lead you or you can donating $50 per month or a once $600 per year towards this projects .

‘’We must become the change we want to see in the world.’’

Music, Dance and Drama is also being practiced at USSARC as part of the talents we discover among kids, we have kids that are talented in singing, dancing and acting so we do give them theory and practical lessons in singing, dancing and acting. There many kids who have now started to discover their talent and even deciding on their future as actors, dancers and others to be singers but above all it has helped the them to always forget the past as it has become an entertaining section as well. We are proposing to have some kids do an audio and video recording as well as go on shoot a drama with our daily identified actors.
Vickie. Young Girl
This girl sings and dances very well. She’s among the kids we have at USSARC with potential, she wants to be a music teacher in her future as well as a recording artist too.Vickie at this age she leads the Sunday school choir and sometimes she accompanies the praise and worship team at the church services.

She is growing with a talent and at the same time using to serve her God as young as she is and that is among our mission to empower young generation to serve God throw talents. As USSARC we are to committed support this girl until she meets her dream as a music teacher and recording artist too in her future by providing all necessary needs.

At USSARC we do drawing/painting in education as part of discovering talents in the communities. Their kids/people who are totally talented in painting and drawing pictures mostly African pictures and some demonstrate personal feelings through paints. We do offer them with all the painting tools, paint and lessons for drawing two time a week and eight times a month then after they finish drawing some good drawing are kept in the office and the others are sold off to the nearby art galleries in the city in order to rise some funds of by the art material and even other needs for them as the artist too. This has projected how some kids/people feel after they draw some pictures that are demonstrating their personal feeling with their family which gives us an easier way to handle and console them.
John. Young Boy
He is one of the best painter we have .He does both painting and drawing. This boy always does drawing from his feeling and the family background which has lead us to know him better than what we knew of him when we just met him.
John is a boy who was raised with a single parent after his father passed when he was just months on the earth so he just had and sees his father’s picture, His baby life was not easy hence the mother told us that she could even some time fail to get the baby foods and needs but on God’s grace this poor boy grew to the age his having today.
John says that, when he grows up he wants to have his own art gallery and when we see what talent he has, really he will be a good artist in the future and that is why we try and get him all what it needs to boost his talent by educating him and providing him art materials as well as his basic need too.

USSARC assists communities by helping them with some required needs as part of donation. We strive to create more employment opportunities for the communities, contributing to the needy social organizations is our priority.
